I stumbled upon Da Vinci's code as I was seeing animal designs everywhere- the heavens, the earth, the 'clouds' & throughout nature. I found the renaissance era depicting my new realities.
Da Vinci's work was particularly remarkable with how he hid these beautiful creatures, small and large in all his portraits.

I learned of Da Vinci's fascinations and love for nature & all things living...and dead. It was not until I was researching the history of the Salvator Mundi at https://salvatormundirevisited.com that the reverse side of the painting was revealed during it's 2005/6 'restoration'.
On the frame/cradle, believed not to be original, were neither noted or documented beautiful critters perched in the tops of the vertical slats.
Furthermore, there was a marking that appeared to be of a mirroring reflection... & that of alien like appearance...to my interpretation anyway :). I began flipping & mirroring his portraits.
This opened a (figurative) portal into seeing an entirely new side of Da Vinci & his astonishingly beautiful & brilliant work. It further excites me about humanities future in art, and what all we may consider in creating beauty.
Thank you for visiting :)
